During Milan Design Week 2024, Istituto Secoli will showcase –from April 15 to 20- the creations of selected students in the heart of the fashion district, at the Tosca Blu showroom, on the second floor at 5 Via Montenapoleone.

The collections of nine emerging designers from Istituto Secoli are paired with accessories from the Tosca Blu FW24/25 collection in a symbiotic play of ‘simultaneous contrasts’. The setting is enhanced by photographs specially created by Virginia Ronzoni.

The exhibition’s title pays homage to Bruno Munari and one of his most acclaimed books, “Design and Visual Communication,” first published in 1968.

Garments and accessories, two parallel creative experiences, engage in dialogue to create multiple simultaneous contrasts: chromatic, simple and complex lines, static and dynamic, soft and sharp forms, pure and decorated surfaces, expressions of present and future. The images, an integral part of the installation, invite reflection to understand possible dualities and grasp their potential.
