As part of a special collaboration with Zegna, our students had the opportunity to delve into the values and skills that characterize excellence in contemporary menswear.

The project kicked off with a dedicated meeting within the Clothing Prototyping course, during which students explored the importance of material selection, fabric quality, and artisanal savoir-faire in the creation of a high-end garment.

Starting with fabrics provided by Zegna, students then put their acquired skills into practice by developing and creating a tailored vest—an iconic garment capable of expressing technical precision, research, and attention to detail.

The experience represented an important opportunity for engagement with an international company and allowed students to understand how product authenticity is born from the intersection of corporate values, raw material quality, and the talent of the people who transform an idea into a finished garment.

A journey that tangibly illustrates the “From Sheep to Shop” concept, guiding students through every stage that contributes to the creation of excellence.
