The talent of new generations needs to be recognized, supported, and guided through concrete opportunities to turn ideas into projects.

On November 4th, Istituto Secoli’s selection committee met with the candidates, listened to their ideas and creative visions, and identified the eight designers who will embark on the Designer to Watch 2027 journey.

Over the course of the coming year, the selected talents will develop their own capsule collection with the support of Istituto Secoli, through a program that will offer growth opportunities, scholarships, new experiences, and professional opportunities.

Congratulations to Gaia Caminotto, Teresa De Giuli, Valentina Greco, Matilde Nasolini, Letizia Pozzi, Giulia Vitolo, Jack Peian Zhan, and Yanyan Zou!

Special thanks to Sara Sozzani Maino of Vogue Italia and Fondazione Sozzani, Sabato De Sarno, Simone Marchetti, editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair Italia, and Walter D’Aprile, co-founder of nss magazine, for sharing their time, experience, and valuable insights with our students, contributing with care and generosity to the selection process.

Thank you also to all the students who embraced this challenge, presenting their ideas and creative visions to the committee.

For the eight selected designers, this is only the beginning of a new journey.
