Designer to Watch with the “MUTATIO” collection
It seeks to explore the intimate relationship between the individual and the surrounding social environment. Fear, the search for belonging, and the simplification of the self hold no real significance or consequence within the character’s inner world. Feeling dissatisfied, his transformation begins, bringing with it new phases and the aftermath of a total collapse of his certainties. An animalistic impulse then strikes the protagonist, catapulting him and his personality into the social web; here, masks are donned, and he who once approached others in a personal yet understandable way now exposes himself to society with a single thought: “We appear in order to socialize, and we socialize in order to belong.”
