Designer to Watch with the “Faux Real” collection
Through the use of social media, humanity seeks to imitate a version of itself that does not truly exist. The result is a decayed and inevitably compromised identity. The collection represents the extreme manifestation of this way of living: the formation of a secondary entity that invades and influences real life. It is something visceral, uncanny, and shifting, expressed through abstract prints inspired by Igor Skaletsky. The lines reflect the style of the anti-rock duo “Faux Real”.
