Istituto Secoli confirms its participation again this year in FASHION GRADUATE ITALIA, the Milanese event that brings together the best Italian fashion schools and academies, offering them the opportunity to showcase their educational paths through fashion shows, workshops, and exhibitions.
Fashion Graduate Italia becomes the ideal showcase for the debut of the Capsule Collection ‘GLOCAL – MILAN MEETS GUADALAJARA’, created as part of an Istituto Secoli pilot project with the University of Guadalajara, promoted by a partnership consisting of the Municipality of Milan, the Government of Jalisco, the Municipality of Guadalajara, Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank), and the Innovation and Design Promotion Council of Guadalajara.
An extraordinary and innovative project aimed at integrating the expertise of the Italian industry with the richness of local folklore: the result is a joint collection of transcultural fashion.
This Capsule was presented on the runway on Monday, October 28, followed by the collections of the eight Designers to Watch, the result of the creative expression of some of the Institute’s finest talents.
