RE FASHION!

A REVOLUTION AND A RECYCLING OF STYLE.

The “Secoli Fashion Show 2012” has just concluded.

An evening full of emotion, rich in creativity and fascinating garments!

This year, RECYCLING AND REUSE dominated the runway.

Re-Fashion, a revolution and a recycling of style. In the 29th edition of the Secoli Fashion Show, we presented ten collections based on the concept of recovery.

An unusual and creative recycling, an explosion of reused and repurposed materials.

Fashion Show Themes

1 Diaphanes

Futuristic flowers bloom on the runway: plastic, with its dual nature of opacity and transparency, creates a “glass effect”

integrating and completing the fabric. The result is pure white corolla dresses accented with fluorescent touches.

 2 Cosmic Debris

Simple materials such as bolts, pins, iridescent paper, and hair clips merge to create unique and precious metallic encrustations that fall onto the garments like cosmic rain.

3 Re havEvolution by Next Fashion School

Re havEvolution is an upheaval of daily perspective, which is enveloped and engaged through new compositions and forms. Let yourself be revolutionized!

4 True Colors

Beachwear is dressed in full, bright, vitamin-rich, and optimistic colors. Recovered tights are transformed into strips of color that run through the swimwear, creating playful contrast effects and perforated details.

5 Flapstik

Myriads of playful sequins made from multicolored plastic bottles cover 1920s-inspired garments. Thus, Flapstik is born from the combination of plastic and the fabulous “flappers” of the 1920s.

6 Cupro “A Touch of Nature”

The eight proposals from the competition finalists focus on the use of recycled materials, which integrate and enhance the qualities and potential of Asahi Kasei’s Cupro fiber.

7 Fragments Shapes

Mosaic details complete the men’s look for Summer 2013. Processed textile waste creates surprising 100% post-consumer inserts.

8 Free Fall

Ropes recycled from old military belts and discarded ribbons create armor-like effects, contrasting with an airy look defined by parachute volumes and fluid fabrics.

9 Re-Arting by Next Fashion School

By reusing paintings, metals, and unique raw materials, Re-Arting reinvents outfits with Haute Couture charm, where everything takes on new life.

10 Kirkos & Fade

Everything flows in a continuous and circular stream. This is Kirkos & Fade: Kirkos (circle) and Fade (gradient): a succession of black and ivory, encrustations of rings, washers, and mechanical waste, creating exciting circular light effects.
