The 2014 edition of the Cera di Cupra Observatory project addresses the theme of Arts, Crafts, and expertise.

What does this initiative have in common with Istituto Secoli? Knowledge and expertise…

Fashion expertise!

The new edition featured Eleonora Bruno (a graduate of Almed with a Master’s in writing and production for fiction and cinema), a contest finalist, and Isabella Fogliacco, a Fashion Design and Patternmaking student at Istituto Secoli.

Together, they embarked on an exciting ‘journey’ into the world of fashion and expertise, accompanied by tutor Sarah Cristina and faculty members from the Fashion Design, Patternmaking, and Dressmaking departments.

For the contest winner, it was two exciting and intense days during which she participated in the process of creating a garment: from the initial idea to the realization of the actual piece.

“Having to convey my knowledge in a short time to someone from a different background was a new and fun challenge,” says Isabella, who shared her desire to participate in such an engaging and interesting project again.

The video report will demonstrate the level of preparation and passion required to design a garment.

Do not miss the first episode dedicated to the world of fashion and expertise, which will air on Monday, November 24, on SKY Channel 425.
