We are proud to announce that the Institute has received the Quality Certification from Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, which attests to its ability to offer specific training programs in the fashion and clothing sector, making it the first to be recognized by industry experts.
Presenting this recognition were the president of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda Alberto Bonisoli and the Councilor for Fashion and Design of the Municipality of Milan Cristina Tajani, who emphasized the importance of a method for evaluating the quality of the curriculum and training to create a system capable of competing on quality—leveraging national cultural, historical, and industrial heritage—against the offerings of other European fashion systems.
Finally, Paola Arosio, Head of Schools and Talents at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, spoke to congratulate the work achieved and express the commitment of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to support this important initiative.
The Fashion School Accreditation System was presented to fashion industry operators in early 2014 and performs a dual check on the monitored institutes: first as a whole, verifying each entity’s strategies regarding its future development, and secondly in specific segments, examining their educational offerings, relationship with the labor market, and teaching methods.
“To date, no similar model exists at an international level; therefore, convinced of the need to develop a tool of this kind, we are proud that Italian Fashion Schools are at the forefront of proposing models of excellence internationally,” stated Alberto Bonisoli, president of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda.
