The Secoli Fashion Show returns this June, a glamorous showcase that has been celebrating the collections of future industry leaders since 1983.

Opening the runway will be the original capsule collections of the Designers to Watch—Secoli alumni and emerging talents on the fashion scene—alongside outfits designed and created by the Institute’s students, inspired by the 2019 macro-theme STILL IN MIND – FREEZE FRAME , a temporal emotional evocation extrapolated from an image formed and frozen in time and thought.

This is a team effort that has involved not only the students but also the entire faculty and Institute staff for 36 years: each outfit is carefully supervised through all stages of design and production, from styling and patternmaking to tailoring.

Furthermore, for this edition as well, numerous partners have chosen to support the young designers in producing the show; among these, for the first time, is Forza Giovane, a textile company specializing in embroidery, trimmings, and artistic decorations for clothing with a strong focus on research and innovation.
