In addition to the 7 DESIGNERS TO WATCH fashion show, do not miss the space dedicated to the Institute, available in “OPEN” mode throughout the entire event. Here, you can discover our Institute and experience firsthand the capsule collection outfits entirely designed and created by DESIGNERS FILIPPO TODISCO and SILVIA RAMPONI.
Filippo Todisco, an Italian designer born in 1993 in Monza, lives in Milan. In the static exhibition space, he will present several pieces from “Anemic Freak…”, the collection that opened the latest edition of the SECOLI FASHION SHOW. It is characterized by sharp, Punk-inspired lines infused with the bright, pop colors of prints on a black background with a Funk undertone. The concept draws inspiration from armor that is programmatically poorly made and genetically flawed, much like the body it inhabits; the bee, the reincarnation of the human soul according to Plato, explodes and contaminates the armor and the human second skin in a powerful and colorful way.
Silvia Ramponi, born in 1989, is a fashion designer originally from Asola, a small town in the province of Mantua. She will be present at the Secoli Booth with her capsule collection titled “Variazioni” (Variations). The three outfits in the collection draw inspiration from the Goldberg Variationen ballet, performed at Teatro alla Scala during the 2017-18 season. Through his work, the choreographer intends to depict the circle of life, focusing on human relationships. By creating a parallel between the choreographic art of ballet and glimpses of daily life, Silvia has created garments with a formal style featuring sportswear details, offering a comfortable, versatile, changeable, and interchangeable fit—characteristics that reflect the multiplicity of bonds formed throughout life and their continuous evolution.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
