Alexander McQueen is partnering with Istituto Secoli for the Fashion Product Prototyping course, which will begin on October 3, 2022, at the institute’s new campus in Novara, at Corso della Vittoria 91.

The prestigious British brand joins Gucci, Herno, IN.CO., Versace, and Zamasport in supporting the project promoted by Istituto Secoli, which aims to train new generations of prototypists—one of the most sought-after professional roles in the fashion industry, particularly in the Novara industrial district.

Please note that this first edition of the course is limited to 20 places and is aimed at high school graduates, university graduates, or professionals wishing to learn prototyping techniques; 1,140 hours of lessons divided into two 16-week academic semesters (15 weeks of lessons, 1 week of exams), plus an 8-week summer term. This is an intensive course requiring 30 mandatory weekly lesson hours, at the end of which students will create prototypes using materials provided by the companies. These companies will then select a minimum of 3 candidates to join their teams for an internship aimed at permanent employment. With the addition of Alexander McQueen, the number of internships guaranteed by partner brands has risen to 18.
