Istituto Secoli confirms its participation in Fashion Graduate Italia, the four-day “open” event featuring fashion shows, panels, meetings, and workshops that hosts industry experts and dedicated spaces where visitors can engage with the diverse visions of the fashion system promoted by the best educational institutions in Italy.
Scheduled from October 27 to 30, the event will take place in one of Milan’s most iconic spaces—BASE MILANO.
Once again, our Institute will participate with its own dedicated space and will be at the forefront with several important appointments:
On the runway on October 28, the brand-new capsule collection “GLOCAL – MILAN MEETS GUADALAJARA”, the result of the pilot project “Jaliscocrea Milan-Guadalajara City to City Cooperation in Fashion & Design.” This project involved Istituto Secoli and the University of Guadalajara—alongside prestigious Italian and Mexican institutions from both cities—in the design and development of a joint transcultural fashion collection. Following this, on the same day, the Designer to Watch showcase will feature the capsule collections of 8 emerging talents in the fashion scene;
Also on Monday the 28th, do not miss the COLLECTIVE FASHION SHOW: SUSTAINABLE VISIONS, which will feature young designer Micol Rizzi representing our Institute with her sustainable outfits.
Last but not least, on the 29th at 11:00 AM, the workshop titled “Menswear Design” will feature the School’s faculty, who will be available to the public to answer questions related to the creation of men’s clothing, analyzing the different stages of development; two styles will be covered during the meeting: the latest trends as opposed to classical tailoring art.
