A training network between Milan and Novara
Istituto Secoli is present between Milan and Novara with an integrated system of locations, spaces and workshops dedicated to fashion education, design culture and technical product development.
The historic location on Viale Vittorio Veneto, in the Porta Venezia District, represents the academic heart of the Institute; the Certosa Campus expands the Milan spaces with workshops, classrooms and environments dedicated to individual study, practical exercises and specific design activities; Novara is the technical hub dedicated to prototyping.
The locations are connected by a public transport network that allows students to move easily between the Institute’s different spaces. In particular, the suburban railway line S6 connects the three locations — Milan Porta Venezia, Milan Certosa and Novara — establishing itself as a privileged connection axis of the Secoli system: a sort of “dedicated metro line” that makes the dialogue between cities, workshops and territory more fluid.
Milan - Porta Venezia District
The historic headquarters in the heart of the city
The Viale Vittorio Veneto location is the historic and academic heart of Istituto Secoli. Located in the center of Milan, in the Porta Venezia District, it represents the main reference point for the Institute’s academic life and for education in Fashion Design, Pattern Making and fashion product development.
This location concentrates classrooms, workshops, academic activities and student services, in an urban context strongly connected to the culture of fashion, design and innovation.
For the academic year 2026/27, the main location on Viale Vittorio Veneto remains the main reference point for class scheduling for courses starting in Milan.
The location is easily accessible thanks to its proximity to metro, suburban lines, trams and surface transport, in one of Milan’s most central and well-served areas.
Milan - Certosa District
New spaces for workshops, study and
student life
The Certosa Campus integrates and expands Istituto Secoli’s Milan spaces, offering new environments dedicated to education, individual study, practical exercises and specific design activities.
For the academic year 2026/27, the main location on Viale Vittorio Veneto, in the Porta Venezia District, remains the main reference point for class scheduling. The Certosa spaces will be progressively activated as workshops, classrooms and support environments for academic and student life.
Over time, the Milan locations will be managed as an integrated system, with the goal of optimizing the use of classrooms, workshops, spaces, capacities and schedules, enhancing the proximity between Porta Venezia and Certosa and the opportunities offered by the new district.
In the Certosa District, Istituto Secoli will share the location with Arsutoria School, an international reference point in education for accessories, footwear and leather goods. The partnership stems from a strong affinity between the two schools: both base their educational mission on technique, on workshops, on the culture of craftsmanship and on constant dialogue with brands and the industry.
Each will maintain its own identity, its own programs and its own specialized workshops, but common spaces and services will be shared and connected, creating a learning environment that is richer, more open and interdisciplinary. For students, this proximity represents a concrete opportunity to come into contact with complementary skills and get to know more closely the different facets of the fashion supply chain: clothing, accessories, footwear and leather goods.
The Certosa Campus is also part of a context designed for student life, thanks to the presence of dedicated services and the campus residential solutions by WAO – We Are Open, which help create a more complete, welcoming and functional environment for students.
The location is easily accessible by public transport and is situated in a rapidly transforming urban area, well connected to the center of Milan and to the Institute’s other educational hubs.

Novara
The technical hub dedicated to prototyping
The Novara location was created to meet the need for specialized technical skills related to prototyping and product development.
Located in an area historically close to some of the main Italian fashion companies, the location represents a training center oriented toward dialogue with businesses and the preparation of professionals capable of transforming creative design into concrete product.
The Novara hub emphasizes the Secoli Method in its most technical and applied dimension, with particular attention to garment construction, execution quality and the relationship between design, prototype and production.
The location is connected to the Milan locations through the suburban railway line S6, which strengthens the connection between Milan’s academic heart, the new Certosa District spaces and the Novara technical hub.

HOW TO MOVE BETWEEN LOCATIONS
The Secoli locations are different in function, atmosphere and purpose, but they are close and well connected: moving between Porta Venezia, Certosa and Novara is a natural part of the educational experience.

From Porta Venezia to Certosa: In less than 15 minutes you can go from the historic headquarters on Viale Vittorio Veneto to the new Certosa Campus spaces (including walking time).
From Porta Venezia to Novara: From the main location to the Novara hub, the travel time is approximately 55 minutes by train.
From Certosa to Novara: With the railway line S6, the direct connection to Novara takes approximately 40 minutes.
