cor corsi modellistica 6 1

The annual Children’s Pattern Making course at Istituto Secoli is designed for those who wish to specialize in the pattern making of children’s clothing, from ages 2 to 12. It is aimed at students with a solid background in pattern making and industry professionals who want to enhance their technical skills and expand their career opportunities. The program offers advanced training on the specifics of children’s clothing, which differs in proportions, volumes, and fit from adult clothing.
The program is structured into three educational modules, progressively covering light clothing, outerwear, and underwear, with the option to attend the first module individually.
Through the application of the Secoli Method, students learn the techniques of geometric construction of basic patterns, pattern transformations to create stylistic variations, and size development. The course combines technical rigor and design sensitivity, providing concrete tools to competently work in the kidswear sector, one of the most dynamic and evolving areas of fashion.
