Designer to Watch with the “Caligo” collection
The collection is based on the union of rigorous industrial cutting and the care of sartorial craftsmanship.
The idea stems from a reflection on the state of unconsciousness in which society finds itself today: we believe we are in control, yet we live immersed in a system that anesthetizes us, preventing a true awakening. We are overwhelmed by constant stimuli that we cannot assimilate and that leave nothing behind.
Fashion perfectly reflects this disorder: incessant collections and increasingly short-lived trends, destined for an ever-less engaged audience. To find balance, it is necessary to rediscover one’s essence. Workwear is the starting point of the capsule: essential, functional garments built with a purpose.
Tailoring complements this universe: a language made of care, aesthetic sense, and durability.
The union of these two worlds, supported by fabrics that reflect their encounter, gives life to garments that retain their practicality in an elevated form, designed to endure over time, to be cared for, lived in, and passed down. For the designer, this represents true sustainability.
