On November 13, Istituto Secoli in Milan launches the second edition of The Menswear Design Contest 2017, an international competition dedicated to men’s fashion and aimed at students and non-professional fashion enthusiasts. Simply hand-draw an original fashion sketch inspired by this year’s theme, “PRECIOUS,” sign it, and upload it to the dedicated platform. The mood for inspiration depicts an elegant and “precious” man—a man wearing an outfit with clean and simple lines, embellished with details ranging from fabric inserts and embroidery to refined and minimal accessories integrated within the garment. The color palette must include black and/or white with hints of gold. You have until December 15, 2017 to participate free of charge for a chance to win a stay in Florence and tickets to Pitti Immagine Uomo in January 2018.
