Claudio Colleoni is a lecturer in Materials Science and Technology.
After graduating in Management Engineering with a textile curriculum from the University of Bergamo, he obtained a PhD from the same university with a thesis on innovative textile finishes. Furthermore, at the University of Bergamo, he is one of the founders of a spin-off where he manages research and development activities in the textile chemistry sector. Throughout his professional career, he has actively participated in the drafting, development, and management of numerous research projects. He possesses expertise in textile chemistry, finishing, and colorimetry on textile materials of natural, artificial, and synthetic origin. He is currently a reviewer for numerous scientific journals and is the author or co-author of over 70 articles for them. He has been teaching at the Institute since 2022.

The young people I teach are always very intrigued by the presentation of new materials and finishes currently emerging in the textile branch; their enthusiasm is also evident during organized visits to leading companies; these are opportunities for them to experience the materials firsthand .”
