THAUMA - Projections of the Unexpected
A profound disenchantment dominates contemporary creative reality, which appears devoid of amazement.
After an initial moment of bewilderment, through a spontaneous gaze that doesn’t demand understanding but increases the propensity for wonder, rediscovered amazement leads to creative experience.
Surprise – an aesthetic device for reading and experiencing novelty – takes on different connotations: boundaries are no longer conventional, innovative solutions lead to forms of expression that embrace the contemporary.
The new now becomes exceptional, the unprecedented becomes a creative act, the result of collaboration between wonder and aesthetic experience that leads to unexplored territories, to places of the unexpected.

Disturbance due to the disruption of familiarity and the habitual nature of reality.
Uncanny, like a timeless flow, a tumult that captures the individual leaving the body empty, detaching it from perceptible reality and making it experience moments of tension | disorientation where the dualism between instinct and body prevails.
Instinct pushes towards the unknown, prevailing over the body; contact with the new appears intense.
Through breath, body and instinct merge again, moving towards a new physical and sensory experience that leads to fully experiencing wonder.
ARTIFACT | "object as invention and not as counterfeit"
Excessive human elaboration of reality, far from artificial manipulation.
Artifact is artificial, like the excessive human elaboration that leaves no room for wonder.
Artifact remains still in space, arranges itself in the environment, making itself unrecognizable yet perceptible.
Artifact belongs yet is foreign, confuses, within it lives a dualism of opposing elements that create unexpected correlations; it has no emotivity but creates emotions because it is artificial, fake and insincere, referring to a universe that gives rise to a story that doesn’t exist but whose value is non-value itself.
ALIENATING | "object as vision and not as recognition"
Transposition and derealization of reality extracted from its usual context to perceive new or unusual aspects. The cognitive frame of daily life, characterized by the perception of truth through consciousness and intuition, leads to common sense, a complex system of knowledge and ways of observing reality where objects become familiar and their recognition superficial.

Each limit corresponds to a mode of overcoming implemented through will, attention, senses, illusion, imagination, and knowledge.
Creativity, trapped in a suffocating stasis, structured around predetermined schemes and models, frees itself from all constraints by surpassing the ordinary.
What unfolds is a journey that goes beyond the boundaries of the self; a superhuman endeavor that surpasses creative stasis, reaches a new form of expression by breaking the chain of homologation.
