Generating high-quality employment by supporting the sectors capable of producing it is the goal of Manifattura Milano, the City of Milan’s program for the promotion of new craftsmanship, Industry 4.0 technologies, and digital manufacturing. This year, our Institute is also participating in the “Manifatture Aperte” initiative scheduled for Saturday, September 29.
The event aims to open manufacturing sites to the public, with the goal of promoting local businesses and showcasing the manufacturing experiences present in the city and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on the food, fashion, and furniture sectors. On that day, the school will organize two workshops at its headquarters, during which participants will have the opportunity to experience the “Secoli Method,” visiting the patternmaking and tailoring laboratories and meeting the faculty, who will illustrate the delicate stages of the garment creation process.
