On March 18, a collaboration was signed between Istituto Secoli and the renowned designer LIU YANG to create the Istituto Secoli-Liu Yang fashion culture scholarship, intended for the three-year courses offered by the school at its headquarters in Guangzhou, China.
The partnership was announced during the opening of Guangdong Fashion Week 2018, which involved prominent figures from the local fashion industry. In over 80 years of history, this is the first time that Istituto Secoli has launched a collaboration with a Chinese fashion designer: this choice is intended as a tool to encourage and support young Chinese talents, with an increasing focus on international cultural exchange.
By promoting this scholarship in support of fashion culture, the School continues to pursue its primary objective: to transmit a professional method to young students that allows them to design and create perfectly conceived garments.
