Yesterday, February 5, 2015, the press conference for Magazzini Aperti took place. This project allowed fashion school students in Lombardy to connect with the production reality of the Italian textile sector and provided participating Lombardy companies the opportunity to present themselves to an audience of future professionals.
Speakers at the meeting included: the President of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda Alberto Bonisoli, the President of Milano Unica Silvio Albini, and the Regional Councilor for Trade, Tourism, and Tertiary Services of the Lombardy Region Mauro Parolini.
The latter, after presenting awards to the companies that participated in ‘Magazzini Aperti’, explained how much this project has enhanced the potential of the fashion system and expressed the Lombardy Region’s desire to further expand its scope for the next edition.
Thanks to ‘Magazzini Aperti’, over 300 Italian and international students from the 9 Lombardy fashion schools (including Istituto Secoli) that joined the initiative will exhibit their work within ‘Milano Unica’, the Italian textile trade fair, held at FieraMilanoCity in Milan until Friday, February 6.
