The state of uncertainty caused by measures to contain the risks of the COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic, which has led Government Authorities to postpone the opening of schools on a week-by-week basis, makes it difficult to ensure proper educational planning—a founding principle of quality training.

With the aim of guaranteeing all students a high standard of quality in the educational services provided, Istituto Secoli considers it appropriate to suspend all teaching activities and keep classrooms and laboratories closed until April 15.

With this decision, Istituto Secoli also intends to take the most appropriate measures to contribute to safeguarding the health of students, their families, faculty, and staff, in full compliance with Government Directives regarding public health.

Finally, this choice was made to meet the needs of numerous students residing in areas subject to restrictions, as well as those coming from central/southern regions or non-European countries, who are currently unable to reach the school to attend classes.

During the coming week, the Education Department will prepare a new academic calendar that respects the total number of hours required by the regulations of each course. This will be communicated promptly, and where possible, e-learning activities will be launched to allow this unexpected break to be used for educational interventions that will integrate and enrich each study path.

In conclusion, rescheduling the resumption of activities to April 15 ensures that study and work conditions for everyone are based on reliable information.
