Istituto Secoli students attend courses and develop projects that span the entire fashion supply chain. Their educational path ranges from fashion design to patternmaking, from prototyping to garment construction, through to the development of a complete collection. These are practical, profession-oriented projects designed to replicate the real workflow of fashion companies and prepare students to enter the industry with a solid technical and creative vision.
Today, the Institute’s curriculum integrates design capabilities with traditional drawing foundations, the use of industry-standard software, and the latest digital innovations. This hybrid approach ensures Secoli graduates acquire both essential craftsmanship skills and the technological expertise currently required by the fashion industry. In this regard, starting this year, our students have had the opportunity to explore various artificial intelligence (AI) tools applied to design, experimenting with different generative AI solutions to support the research process. One example is the introduction of the Raspberry AI platform, implemented through PrismaTech, our technological partner for 3D rendering.
Raspberry has been integrated into the curriculum for students currently in their second year of the Fashion Design & Fashion Product Technologies course. Its rollout was planned progressively to ensure adequate training for the faculty and to allow students to derive maximum benefit while preserving their expressive and creative freedom.
