Re-Wear: this is the theme of the third edition of Dreamers, a project on independent and research fashion taking place in Turin from November 1 to 4 at Toolbox as part of the Contemporary Art Torino event dedicated to languages.
The 2018 edition aims to explore fashion sustainability, understood as a reflection that identifies the fusion of ethics and aesthetics as the common denominator of all the projects on display. Within this context, two Secoli garments have been selected, designed by fashion designer Greta Moroni, a former student of the Institute and an emerging talent in the fashion system: the first belongs to the “UTOPIA FOR A POSITIVE WORLD” capsule—a collection that won the Ecologic Contest Prize in Shenzhen; the second is from the capsule featured in the SECOLI FASHION SHOW 2018 “FREEDOM TO WALK ON THE FLOWERBEDS – conscious collection,” a true protest against the hardships of the modern world through the use of garments as a voice of contrast to consumerist society.
Congratulations Greta!
