The collaboration continues between Istituto Secoli and Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia, a world-leading company in the production of textile fibers; once again this year, on the occasion of the 32nd edition of the ‘Secoli Fashion Show‘, a collection will be entirely created using Cupro fiber fabrics.
Here is the concept that the ten finalists of the Cupro Competition will challenge each other with on the runway at Alcatraz in Milan on June 10th:
‘OPAQUE TRANSPARENT’
Layering, maxi bands, geometric inserts, and asymmetries: all for a sheer effect with a modern and captivating style.
We would like to thank the President of Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia, accompanied by Marketing Manager Stefano Coda, who on Wednesday, May 6, presented our students with the excellent characteristics of Cupro fiber, the flagship product of the Japanese company.
Cupro is a man-made fiber obtained through the expert processing of cotton linters consisting of pure cellulose; the result is a shiny, ultra-fine filament that gives life to a vast range of fabrics.
