Starting in the second half of September, the new Patternmaking courses Menswear, Womenswear Patternmaking, and Time and Methods Analysis at the I.co.man 2000-Berwich company in Martina Franca. Istituto Secoli aims to organize specific courses for fashion industry professionals in Martina Franca, and more generally in the Puglia Region. The interest in Martina Franca, and the region as a whole, stems from a request by the primary clothing production districts in Puglia which, through trade associations, have expressed the need for targeted training of highly qualified professional figures, such as patternmakers and production technicians.
The common denominator of the courses will be the “Secoli Method,” which for over eighty years has accompanied young students and professionals who wish to acquire knowledge, techniques, and methodologies that keep pace with the times.
The courses will be concentrated on weekends (Saturdays) and will follow a “blended learning” formula: remote lessons will add value to the in-person sessions, enhancing them by providing professionals with innovative digital tools capable of optimizing their learning.
