Yesterday, Wednesday, November 26, President Stefano Secoli welcomed Ms. Federica Cancanelli and Mr. Ezio Sancovich from Moncler, who presented the prestigious brand to the students of Istituto Secoli.
Ms. Federica Cancanelli shared the history of the company, which was founded in 1952 in France but “became Italian” in the 2000s.
She explained that behind the great success of this brand, which specializes in luxury winter clothing, lies a strong connection to the brand’s roots and a continuous search for new solutions.
In recent years, Moncler has undergone a very significant growth process, becoming a globally recognized brand and a leader in its market segment, to the point of being listed on the Stock Exchange.
Subsequently, Mr. Ezio Sancovich took the floor and explained in detail how Moncler garments are made and the various technical difficulties involved in working with “down.”
He showed an audience of enthusiastic students several garments from various collections and illustrated their respective patterns, emphasizing how important research for a product of great creative and qualitative excellence is to the Moncler team.
Istituto Secoli would like to thank Moncler and in particular Ms. Cancanelli and Mr. Sancovich for giving our students the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of Italian excellence.
