Another major global fashion brand establishes a partnership with Istituto Secoli!
This morning, our final-year students had the opportunity to get to know Moncler Group, a textile company specializing in high-quality winter apparel and luxury goods.
Following a welcome from President Stefano Secoli, Dr. Federica Cancanelli presented the history of a company rooted in tradition—founded in 1952—yet one that makes “innovation” its hallmark. In recent years, Moncler has undergone a significant growth process, becoming a globally recognized brand and a leader in its segment, even being listed on the Stock Exchange.
Subsequently, Mr. Ezio Sancovich spoke, illustrating the technical and design complexities of the various Moncler brand lines. He conveyed to an increasingly interested and enthusiastic audience of students the passion, care, and attention to detail that drive him and his team of patternmakers in their daily work. A strategic area such as Patternmaking in a major company like Moncler aims to create a perfect product that respects the dictates of Style while simultaneously maintaining a sustainable production cost for the company.
We would like to thank Dr. Cancanelli and Mr. Sancovich! The next appointment for our students is in just a few weeks, at the end of their training at Istituto Secoli… some of them will likely find their professional future at Moncler!
