The finalists have been selected, and the capsule collections are ready: everything is set for the 26th edition of the Mittelmoda Fashion Award 2019, an international fashion contest!

The event showcasing collections by new fashion talents is scheduled for Monday, September 16, at Rho Fiera Milano, during the international footwear trade fair MICAM.

Among the finalists is our young graduate designer Antonella Prato with her capsule collection “Dicotomia”, a collection based on the concept of “Black and White Thinking.” With Dicotomia, Antonella aims to give personality to the garments based on this very mindset, which reduces real-world chaos by restoring order through fixed patterns that exclude the range of available choices. The dichotomous individual lives in a black-and-white world of sharp boundaries and rigid constraints, where nuances are not contemplated, obsessively seeking a world of perfection.
