Stefanella Sposito

Stefanella Sposito graduated from the Higher School of Fashion and Costume at the NUOVA ACCADEMIA di BELLE ARTI. She earned specialization diplomas in Women’s Patternmaking from ISTITUTO SECOLI in Milan, an academic diploma in Textile Design from the ACCADEMIA DI COSTUME E DI MODA in Rome, and specialized in Haute-Couture Embroidery Techniques at the ECOLE DE BRODERIE D’ART F. LESAGE in Paris. She is currently a contract professor of History of Fashion and Design for Bachelor’s degree courses at some of Milan’s most prestigious universities.

She has served as a tenured teacher in State Vocational Institutes specializing in Textiles and Clothing, and was the Head of the Fashion Department at the Marelli-Dudovich Higher Education Institute in Milan. She collaborates with technical journals, writing articles on ancient and contemporary textiles. She is the author of essays and books translated into multiple languages and distributed internationally. . Drawing on her extensive experience in the fashion and textile fields, she participates in and organizes seminars, conferences, and competitions, and is at the forefront as a creator of industry projects, courses, and exhibitions.

She has been teaching History of Costume and Fashion at Istituto Secoli since 2022.
