A graduate in Architecture – specializing in Industrial Design and Interior Design from the Politecnico di Milano, Romina Torino also earned a post-diploma qualification in Fashion Styling from the C.F.P. in Milan (now AFOL Moda) during the same period.
Following her experience as Window Display Manager for the Vestebene Group and the Motivi brand, she collaborated with several architectural firms in Piedmont. In 2005, she founded her own women’s fashion brand, Freevola, opening an atelier in Regensburg, Germany.
Since 2013, she has pursued an academic career, teaching at some of Italy’s leading fashion and design institutions: Politecnico di Milano-School of Design, Accademia del Lusso, AFOL Moda, NABA, and Ferrari Fashion School. Her teaching areas include Industrial Design for Fashion, Technical and Project Drawing, CAD Patternmaking, and Fashion Design & Creative Direction.
Since 2025, she has been a lecturer in Garment Design, Shape and Rendering, and CAD Automatic Drawing and Rendering at Istituto Secoli.
