Hannah Jane Samsworth is a sewing and garment construction instructor. Of British origin, Hannah is an artist, designer, seamstress, and patternmaker, having also held roles as a high-fashion garment maker and tailoring collaborator over the years. In 2020, she founded her brand Tacit, a bespoke clothing atelier for women and children that creates garments using natural, organic, and reclaimed fabrics. She graduated with honors in “Fine Art Printmaking” from the University of Brighton in the UK and subsequently earned diplomas from Istituto Secoli in Women’s Industrial Patternmaking and Children’s Lightweight Clothing Patternmaking. Hannah has been teaching at Secoli since 2012.
