Giorgia Viscardi is a lecturer in Rendering and CAD Patternmaking. Having graduated with honors in Fashion Design from the Politecnico di Milano, she published two volumes on Academia.edu during her studies — Il Tavolo Stondato and Il Paradosso dell’Apprendimento — dedicated to reflections on the democratization process of fashion. Her greatest passion is graphic design, with a strong inclination for digital modeling and 3D rendering. She has been teaching at the Institute since 2025.
“In my opinion, teaching is the greatest test of humility that one can experience. While on one hand you must be able to provide knowledge with confidence and passion, on the other you must also, if not above all, constantly question yourself and be able to identify your own limits in order to recognize those of the person in front of you. It is one of the most human professions that exists, and that is precisely what I love about my work.”
