The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has required the application of new preventive and protective anti-contagion measures to be adopted at the entrance as well as within the spaces of every organization.

Within the context of the virus’s spread, Istituto Secoli has also defined safety and behavioral rules to protect all its stakeholders, summarized and described within the COVID Protocol adopted to ensure a safe study and work environment. The document summarizes the instructions aimed at increasing the effectiveness of epidemic containment efforts, providing precise information and operational instructions.

More specifically, work within the Institute takes place according to the rules summarized and described in the following information notices:

In 2020, during the spread of the virus, Istituto Secoli redesigned its educational offering by integrating new tools and study methods accessible remotely, in order to guarantee all its students a high-quality service, in full respect of the work method based on learning by doing. The academic calendar, together with the teaching management strategies employed, allow for continuity in educational activities while respecting the safety requirements requested by the competent authorities, and specifically:

– create a safe study and work environment;

– ensure social distancing;

– allow for operation in closed groups of students with pre-established schedules for both lessons and laboratory use;

– avoid gatherings through staggered entry and exit times;

– allow for the sanitization of contact and work surfaces between one lesson shift and the next.
