More than just a course, Fashion & Experience – Milan is designed as a true two-week immersive journey into the heart of the Italian fashion system, a unique opportunity to experience the city not just as a destination, but as an open-air classroom. The strength of the program lies in its hybrid nature, which blends educational excellence and on-site cultural exploration into a single path. During the two weeks of training, participants alternate technical lessons in Fashion Design, Patternmaking, and Womenswear Construction — approached with the rigor of the Secoli Method — with external experiential activities, such as visits to museums, foundations, and industry trade fairs. This dual approach allows students to learn the “know-how” in the laboratory and immediately contextualize it through direct analysis of the aesthetics, art, and textile supply chain that make Milan a global fashion capital.
Who is this course suitable for?
This experience is designed for university students and professionals who are not looking for a simple technical course, but for an intensive and structured experience capable of offering a complete, cosmopolitan, and critical vision of the fashion sector. It is aimed at those who possess basic knowledge or a strong passion for the dynamics of Fashion Design and womenswear and wish to undergo an intense and stimulating journey, engaging directly with the Milanese fashion system.
What are the career prospects?
More than a vertical technical specialization, Fashion & Experience is configured as an advanced orientation and cultural enhancement path, valuable for anyone wishing to work in the fashion system with a comprehensive overview. The skills acquired provide a solid foundation for future academic studies or for a more informed professional entry, providing the tools to interpret the product development process in an integrated way. A cross-functional understanding of the process — from design to construction — is a valuable skill for future Fashion Designers, Product Managers, and professionals working in collection coordination.
