Designer to Watch with the collection “RETRACING ONE’S STEPS“
The women’s capsule collection “Retracing One’s Steps” represents a journey divided into four stages: childhood, growth, and adulthood, during which one feels the need to relive previous ages. Childhood represents a period of certainty, lightheartedness, security, and freedom, which the designer depicts through the mountains. Growth is a period of transition and change during which responsibilities and awareness increase. This is followed by adulthood, a time of uncertainty, obstacles, and loneliness in facing problems as responsibilities grow. All this leads to a need to feel protected (rather than having the duty to protect), resulting in a strong desire to retrace one’s steps.
