Designer to Watch with the collection “CHOOSE CAREFULLY THE WORDS (NOT) TO SAY“
Words are the protagonists of the collection; words that explain the meanings of others. In an attempt to nullify this tautology, the designer is inspired by Gino Strada’s text “LA FAVOLA”, which tells children about the importance of their use: even the most unconscious terms must be selected, calibrated, and used by a conscious mind to ensure a level of understanding of the other that goes beyond listening. To talk about words, Gino Strada chose the concept of the fairy tale, which the designer wanted to explore further by creating a reminder to promote their proper use—an imagery that invites the choice of words to avoid a deafening presence.
