Designer to watch with the collection “Fragmented Whole“
The “Fragmented Whole” collection is based on the concept of the word identity. The dictionary definition that describes it as a fixed characterizing element over time is contrasted with the vision of experimental singer Arca: each of us has multiple inner selves without, however, denying belonging to a whole. From here begins the inner search for identities: layered, decomposed, and multi-faceted; in a continuous fluidity alternating between controlled self-narratives and the emergence of impulsive gestures. Classic elements of the garments take on new identities by mixing and transforming.
