Designer to Watch with the “Vacuo” collection
The capsule collection “Vacuo” addresses the complex relationship between modern man and space. The constant frenzy of our times leads us to perceive empty space as a container to be filled; this results in an irrepressible need, both mental and physical, to fill that shell. Actions become uncontrollable, the capacity for agency is lost, and one is unconsciously trapped in a loop created by numerous fears. The collection aims to critique a phenomenon rooted in our society that responds to the instinctive need to constantly fill a void, in a continuous loop where fatuous and inconsistent sensations are erased.
