The Womenswear Defect Correction course will start on November 23rd. It addresses the most complex and delicate phase of the pattern maker’s craft. The objective is to provide pattern makers with tools for knowledge transfer through storytelling techniques, to propose a procedure and methodology for addressing the defect correction process of a toile or prototype, and to tackle concrete cases of defect correction through discussion with highly experienced pattern makers and practical exercises.
The course is divided into three workshops of three days each. Each workshop is dedicated to the fitting and defect correction of a different type of women’s garment:
– THE DRESS – November 23, 24, 25, 2017;
– THE TROUSERS – January or February 2018;
– OUTERWEAR – March or April 2018.
