The process of fitting, or defect correction, is a moment of continuous learning for the pattern maker, both through interaction with other professionals and through the search for solutions required and stimulated by the daily challenges that new materials, cuts, and volumes entail. For these reasons, our three-day workshops are composed of three modules: the first, relating to method, aims to provide tools for knowledge transmission through storytelling techniques useful for facilitating the achievement of an information-sharing system and a spirit of cooperation; the second, relating to technique, aims to propose a procedure and methodology with which to approach the process of correcting defects in a muslin or prototype and subsequently apply the modifications to the pattern; the third module, regarding implementation, aims to address concrete cases of defect correction.
The Defect Correction course is divided into three seminars: the Dress, the Trousers, and Outerwear.
The Dress and Trousers seminars have already taken place this year receiving great acclaim and satisfaction from the participants; do not miss the next one, Outerwear, scheduled for April 12, 13, and 14!
