You are cordially invited to the inauguration of the exhibition “the room of wonders,” which will take place today at 6:30 PM at the Spazio Culturale Antonio Ratti in Como.

We present a preview of the garments created by our student Kaidi Wang for this edition of COMON 2014.

CONCEPT:

• CITY-NATURE
• MAN-ANIMAL
• CHAOS-CALM
• CONTAMINATED-PRISTINE 

These are the keywords of the collection inspired by the “great” animals of the savannah. Warm colors reminiscent of the earth combine with full-bodied, crisp fabrics such as taffeta.  
Soft velvet accompanies chiffon, and the print recalls the uniqueness of the giraffe’s coat.
A Mongolian mane represents the majesty of the king of the savannah. An exclusive and original union takes shape between nature and man.

Admission is free and the exhibition will remain open until October 26 with the following hours:
Mon-Fri 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sat 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Sun 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM 

The event will be held at the former Church of S. Francesco in Largo Spallino, 1 COMO – ANTONIO RATTI CULTURAL SPACE –
