MODA & DESIGN IN BILICO -New challenges and new jobs-

On Tuesday, December 4, the presentation of the book ‘Moda & Design in bilico’, written by Emanuela Cavalca Altan, was held in the Aula Magna of Istituto Secoli. Speakers at the meeting included Dr. Matthias Kissing, CEO of Atelier Aimèe, Dr. Maurizio Cittone, CEO of Add-Comei&Co, and the President of ANTIA, Alberto Gregotti, in the presence of second and third-year students and master’s course students.

Stefano Secoli, President of the Institute, introduced the main details of the book and presented the speakers, who served as witnesses for the conference, to the young audience.

The author briefly described the contents of her book, providing a general and updated overview of all professional roles across the entire fashion and design supply chain, from the style department to export, through to training and communication. She expressed her opinion on the precariousness of the current fashion system and her certainty regarding possible change and renewal driven by those who courageously propose new creative ideas.

The speakers shared their personal and professional experiences with the students, focusing on corporate methods and strategies, and encouraging future fashion technicians and creatives regarding the upcoming changes. Dr. Simona Valent from Umana, an employment agency, also took part in the meeting, answering numerous questions from students on how to create a CV, how to conduct oneself during a job interview, and many other inquiries.
