Anna Salvigni, 23, a Secoli alumna and now a young designer, will present her ELEUTHERIA capsule collection in Milan this September. The collection is inspired by the concept of freedom and consists of 11 garments entirely created by her—from the initial sketches on paper to the sewn and finished products.
Anna’s passion for fashion was born during her studies at the Institute: “At the age of 18, I began my experience at Istituto Secoli in Milan, where I graduated as a women’s patternmaker in 2018. Before attending this school, I only knew how to draw; I had never picked up a needle and thread, and now I cannot live without them. I think if someone had told me a few years ago, when I still didn’t know how to sew or create a pattern, that this would become my world, I wouldn’t have believed it in the slightest.“
