Garment and pattern fitting is a highly delicate and crucial stage in the clothing design and production cycle. When executed effectively, it serves as an irreplaceable quality guarantee for the product, contributing significantly to final customer loyalty.

Like all design and production activities within clothing companies (and beyond), “fitting” is carried out by a team where diverse experiences and skills must converge toward a single objective. In fact, the changing variables—such as fit, materials, fabrics, accessories, yarns, etc.—mean that no defined procedures or manuals exist; only experience and experimentation through group discussion allow for the most appropriate solution. Therefore, only the “cultural” development of the group itself proves effective through the transfer and dissemination of knowledge. With this logic, Istituto Secoli has prepared these workshop days in which participants become active protagonists and where professional growth will be determined by the comparison and understanding of certain group composition techniques.
