In recent years, the relevance and urgency of sustainability in fashion have also been reflected in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda with its various sustainability goals, which have inspired a series of international standards that cannot be separated from technological innovation.
The central theme of the 2022 edition of Fashion Graduate Italia was sustainable innovation.
Students were called upon to put their creativity at the service of important factors such as research into sustainable materials, solutions aimed at energy saving, environmental policies, extending product life and end-of-life product management.

The Secoli Booth showcases some of the creative proposals created by Academy designers, born from different inspirations: concepts
related to the world of art and social themes are reinterpreted through the language of fashion. Different projects, united by
contemporary experimentation, by a constant search for innovative and high-performance materials, and by a deep creative passion.
BACKSTAGE AND RUNWAY
The backstage of Fashion Graduate Italia is a vibrant place where energy, emotion, and professionalism meet. Students, teachers, and technical team work side by side to take care of every detail — from fitting to make-up — transforming the tension of preparation into pure creativity.
Then, when the lights come on, the magic moves to the runway: the dream of “making fashion” comes to life and passion becomes a spectacle.
PORTFOLIO REVIEW
A moment of direct interaction between students and industry professionals, the Portfolio Review is an opportunity to present one’s projects, receive targeted feedback, and build valuable connections with companies and talent scouts.
A formative dialogue that prepares young designers to face the world of work with awareness and vision.

Fashion Graduate Italia is the event that brings the fashion of the future to the stage and is the only one open to the public entirely dedicated to young talents who are writing the new chapter of fashion.
