La cultura, la tradici\u00f3n, las creencias, la expresi\u00f3n personal y mucho m\u00e1s son el objetivo del body art. Al igual que el movimiento punk, a una persona punk se la reconoce como delincuente, rebelde, v\u00e1ndala y malhechora que cubre su delicada alma con objetos punzantes y un aura oscura. El punk (indumentaria) transmite el mensaje de ser uno mismo, y que no se trata solo de llevar prendas, sino tambi\u00e9n de hacer una declaraci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica.
