{"id":55139,"date":"2014-09-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-09-14T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secoli.com\/the-collaboration-between-lectra-and-istituto-secoli-continues\/"},"modified":"2014-09-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-09-14T22:00:00","slug":"the-collaboration-between-lectra-and-istituto-secoli-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secoli.com\/en\/the-collaboration-between-lectra-and-istituto-secoli-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"The collaboration between Lectra and Istituto Secoli continues."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The collaboration continues with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lectra.com\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">Lectra<\/a>, a world-leading company in the field of technological solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Students from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.secoli.com\/Corsi\/Corsi-Accademici\/Master\/Modellistica-e-sartoria-uomo-Master\" target=\"_self\">MENSWEAR MASTER&#8217;S<\/a> program were hosted by the company for a day dedicated to collection cutting.<\/p>\n<p>During the day, the Lectra technician focused on a comprehensive lesson regarding automatic cutting with Vector machines and Lectra hardware solutions; the students, therefore, attended an intensive workday where they had the opportunity to experience firsthand the cutting of a garment from their thesis.<\/p>\n<p>The work began with the creation of the paper pattern, which was subsequently entered using digitization systems and processed with Lectra CAD systems.<\/p>\n<p>After completing the model on the computer, the students performed the placement fabric by fabric and subsequently carried out the cutting at the company.<\/p>\n<p>The Master&#8217;s course students will soon complete their training with their thesis defenses.
