In recent days, we had the pleasure of hosting Ornella Bignami at the Institute\u2014the driving force behind the creative consultancy firm Elementi Moda Milano<\/a> and Education Supervisor of the ALLIANCE FOR FLAX-LINEN & HEMP<\/strong>, the only European agro-industrial association that brings together and promotes every stage of the flax and hemp supply chain, from the field to the finished product in Italy. Ornella Bignami held<\/strong> a seminar at our Milan headquarters to illustrate the countless characteristics of European linen and hemp across all sectors of use: fashion, home, furniture, composites, and technical products<\/strong>. As it does every year, the meeting provided our first-year students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of these fibers and their many properties. <\/p>\n\n\n
